LIFTWELL (Lifting Up Immigrant Families Through Education and Wellness) is a project being run in collaboration with InsideSchools. We will address mental health and psychosocial needs among newly arrived migrant families in NYC by adapting and delivering the World Health Organization’s Self Help Plus (SH+) to this population in order to improve mental health, and provide stress management tools. We will support these families in accessing special education services for their children and provide education on navigating the complicated NYC school system.
